About me

I have been offering guidance and support to people for more than thirty years – as a transpersonal therapist (I was trained in the method called Holodynamics in the 90s), then adding knowledge of the systemic NLP,  later employing a slightly different approach to transpersonal therapy called Soul-work, a type of “parts work” that  was developed with the participation of some of the Sufis. Gradually, I went further into the intuitive consulting and healing, and of course my spiritual path – Sufism –  kept deepening the work I was able to do.

People came to me for different reasons. Yet whether the person wanted to discover their calling or heal a heartbreak, find a new partner or ensure they made the right choice in business, get independence or alleviate the feeling of emptiness or confusion, almost always there was a common theme.

Underneath all that stated need, everyone was searching for the ways to become stronger, recognising that an increase in power would lead to a brighter life, with more joy, more impact, more satisfaction.

Always act from the position of power.

Those were the exact words I heard from my inner guidance quite a few years back. Intuitively, I knew what that meant: one has the power to influence life, one ought to know oneself to be a strong, sovereign being, and must act as such (and none of the “poor little me” – in anything, ever!)

It is often said that one best teaches what one must learn oneself, and my guidance’ advice was easier said than done.

Despite all my many experiences on the paths of spirituality, healing, psychotherapy, I kept perceiving a sort of a hole in me, something that felt like a lack, resulting in the feeling of incompletion – and pretence. There was a fear to be just who I am, and an even deeper horror to let myself realise what “being who I am” even meant.

So many of us presume that there is some sort of badness in us; we might have no idea as to what it is, exactly, but we still feel safer keeping it hidden in a deep dark cellar.

The problem is, whenever we hold a part of ourselves back from showing up, it eventually turns into an eddy that drains our strength and happiness, and gradually undermines our life pursuit and fulfilment. We can be helping others to do a lot of good and important things, but that won’t stop this process of inner destabilisation.

And if we happen to get entrenched into a position of authority, it becomes even more difficult for us to break free from a mould that keeps our life going in the direction once chosen, and likely appreciated by our friends, clients, and colleagues,  no matter the desperate need for a change we feel inside.

Relationships may require reset, old traumas must be looked at with honesty and allowed to heal, the direction might need to be changed — and a fuller life could be waiting for us. All we need is to be brave, and also truthful and kind to ourselves.

So that was what I needed to face, and to do. I can’t say that there was just one turning moment that brought a dramatic change for me; I would have loved for that to happen, just like we sometimes read in books about other people. But no, it was gradual (and felt excruciatingly slow.)

What made the biggest difference was a conscious decision to embark on a project of service that was completely selfless. The decision was made freely, simply because the outcome was something that I was wanting to see realised in the world, and it was not going to bring me any reward or advantage.

On that path, I had to quickly develop self-trust. I also had to become unashamed of my strength. I know this sounds a bit weird, and there is no logic to it, but I do hope that some of the women among you will understand, and perhaps even resonate with me on that.

I also learned, from my own experience and not just from the wise and enlightened out there, that there is indeed a “switch”, otherwise known as a choice – to be in one’s power, or to be “as usual.” Before you roll your eyes, I want to clarify that this is not at all about any positive thinking, or act-as-if kind of thing.

This is about a change of focus. That change is in our power in any moment, and it does indeed transform how we live our life pretty much completely, as one becomes able to deal with literally anything. And yes, it does sound overly simplistic, but only until one finds out for oneself that indeed, it is just what it is – a change of the direction of our attention.

Life of course always remains a work in progress, and each of us will forever be a student on its path. Learning just how many things are in our power brings a huge relief, and I feel so immensely blessed to now be able to guide others towards this freedom.

The Sufi approach

Nowadays the Sufis are best known by their beautiful devotional poetry of masters like Rumi, Hafez, Sa’adi; perhaps the names of Ibn-Arabi, Fariduddin Attar, Nizami, Suhrawardy, Rabia, or Abdul Qadir Gilani would also ring, albeit quieter, bells for some people.

Yet Sufism is a living tradition, it is a spiritual path that is as alive today as it was fourteen or eight centuries ago.

It is known to be a path of the heart, and everything in it is about love. That love is not a sweet sentimental feeling though, but compassion, power, and truth all melted in one.

One can frequently hear Sufism defined as “Islamic mysticism,” a term with which not all Sufis would agree. For more explanation on what it is and is not, you can look on my Sufi website here, but the mysticism part needs a bit of clarification on this page as it has the direct relation to this work.

In the meaning used here, “mysticism” is the knowledge of how Life works. In a human being, the most important things for a mystic are the balance (or imbalance) of certain elements, the rhythms of the person’s inner and outer life, and the direction and strength of what one could call currents, the chief of which are our will and attention.

While usually I do not directly offer Sufi practices to my clients, the knowledge of the human “architecture” and of the workings of the human life that the Sufi teachings give me is always a crucial help, both for the understanding of a person’s current condition and for drawing the most efficient trajectory for the desired change.

How it works

The first thing to underline is that it is up to you as to what you achieve.

From time to time people come to me with a sole aspiration to heal a paining heart. Healing, including the emotional healing, is one of the main components of my work, and I am absolutely happy to serve in this way.

And for those who are looking for a change of course and want to build a more heart-centred, efficient, impactful life, I am willing to spend as much time with you as it takes for the results to begin showing up.

Once we get clear on your desired outcome, the way we go depends on your previous life experiences, including those with psychology and spirituality, and on your mindset in general. I choose from multiple tools, acquired on all those paths mentioned above, depending on both your needs and inclinations.

You don’t need to be a Sufi or adhere to any particular path, religion, theory, etc. in order to benefit from what I offer. One thing that helps though is having at least an inkling of the existence of a bigger reality beyond what we can see, smell, or touch.

How many sessions you will need to get where you wish to be depends on you. Having a well-defined goal for this work is very helpful and certainly speeds things up.

Your willingness to sincerely follow along with an occasional meditation or an inner “journey,” as well as to do the prescribed homework, are all needed for the attainment of your aim. We will likely be embarking on a process of creating some new habits in your life, not only on changing feelings or ideas, so having both openness and some tenacity is important.

A random email exchange between sessions is usually a possibility, so you will be able to let me know how you are doing and receive some guidance without spending more money. Again, this depends to some degree on how clear the purpose of our work together becomes.

I am currently not offering free of charge “meet-up” time. Please, follow your intuition on whether you would benefit from having some sessions with me, sense inside if what you read on these pages resonates and feels good to your heart. If yes, then write to me and tell me which direction you want your life to go.
